Hello there, I really have a hard time to understand how to use the "Geometry Validator". I checked the "help" and still not sure how it works.

I checked an example in IMDF validator and not sure what is the column of "Issue to detect" does, such as "contains -0, NaN, or infinity".

I really hope someone can give me a light introduction on this transformer.

Thank you and I am really appreciate your help.

I use Contains -0, NaN, or Infinity to check for invalid measures.

If you use the default Don't Process Measure it probably checks for those values in vertex values of geometries. But I don't use it that often so don't rely on my answer for this case.

There is no clear definition about Contains -0, NaN, or Infinity in FME documentation. I think it must be something occurring only in databases like ORACLE, POSTGIS, etc. ESRI doesn’t allow this type of data.
