Hi,

I have a point dataset with an unique attribute and a polyline dataset. The points are a subset of the vetrices of the polylines. I'd like to know, how can I intersept the polylines with the points and add an attribute to the lines out of the unique point attribute at the start and the end of the cutted polylines. The image below shows what I mean.

Thanks for your ideas!

Hi,

Have a look at the  SpatialRelator.

Hope this helps.

PointOnAreaOverlayer (tolerance 0.1)

Spatialrelator (touches)

ListSorter _relationships{}._count

ListConcatenator _relationships{}._count

I would love to attach workbench / screenshots but I cant upload anything in here. Repost your question http://groups.google.com/group/fmetalk and I will attach them.

The PointOnAreaVoverlayer will split your lines where it encounters points, if that is not desirable I would go witht the Spatialrelator, it will create a list of all points related to the line, form there you can transfer the ID of the point to the lines.

Hi Niels,

thank you for your answer and the listed transformers. I only switched the PointOnAreaOverlayer into a PointOnLineOverlayer.
