Hi Greg

This is not currently supported and we have task to do this which seems to be planned for the coming year.

One of our customers proposed the following work-around which we haven't tested but may work:

"The workaround is to remove (by renaming) libpg.dll in $(FME_HOME)\\plugins\\postgis. FME seems to use the postgis.dll, where SSL-mode seems to work. You can't browse the "table list", but if You know schema and table (or view) name, You are able to connect. "

Hi Greg and JP,

In FME 2015 beta, and in FME 2014 SP3 as well I think, PostgreSQL supports SSL connections via OpenSSL DLLs.

FME 2015 beta and FME 2014 SP3 can be downloaded from:

Thanks,
