BADNEWS: TEST clause must be specified for factory TestFactory (fcttest.cpp:298)

Good question! I'm wondering - does the rest of your log contain any errors? Does your translation fail?

If yes to any of the above two questions, this might mean something genuinely went wrong. Generally speaking, though, errors with the tag "BADNEWS" can be completely and safely ignored. Check this knowledge centre article for a little more information on FME "BADNEWS" errors.
