Hi guys,

i'm trying to cleaning up some historical GIS data which hasn't been well managed in the past 5-10 years.

in that drive, all project related GIS data is saved in each folder which was named by the project name.

what i want is to have is to have a workbench to search for shapefiles by certain texts (e.g. survey area, study area, project boundary) and write those into one feature class which have the folder name saved in one attribute table.

Any suggestion?

Do you mean something like the Directory and File Pathnames reader?
