ORA-24816: Expanded non LONG bind data supplied after actual LONG or LOB column

I am writing to about 100 feature classes through an SDE writer and about 5 feature classes return the error:

The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147216072'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {Underlying DBMS error [ORA-24816: Expanded non LONG bind data supplied after actual LONG or LOB column]}

Looking on Oracle websites hasn't resulted in a solution: I hope someone here has a suggestion how to solve this.

These are not Oracle errors. They originate from ArcObjects - your Geodataabse writer. We have some of the ArcGIS errors in troubleshooting article. This leads to the -2147216072 error mentioned in the FME documentation Tips for Using the Geodatabase Writer. Hopefully from this you can identify where the problem originates
