Multiple DGN files from ED50 to ETRS89

Hello!

I am new FME user and I trying to transform multiple dgn files fronm ED50 to ETRS89. I use Quick Translator to do it, and there is no problem if I tried with only one file. But if I tried to do it with multiple files at the same time the levels numbers are changed.

If in origin, the information levels are 51 and 52, in the destination files are 14 and 15, for example.

How can I keep the source information? Thanks Afp

Hi,

Try using the workbench application, once open use the generate workspace option.

Just point to all your input files and provide the coordinate system and point to an output location with the new coordinate system.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Itay,

I've tried to do what you say with FME Workbench, but takes the source files and merge them to a single file.Afp

Ha yes, you need to use a dataset fan out keep the original files.

See https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Workbench/Workbench/fanout_about.htm?Highlight=fan%20out

For more information on fan outs.

and https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Workbench/Workbench/Setting_Dataset_Fanout_Properties.htm

about dataset fan out.

Yet another option is to use the dynamic option when generating the workspace.

All OK

I use the dynamic option when generating the workspace and then a fanout dataset.

Thank you very much for your time, Itay.
