Question

I have data in format .sbf file. Can FME read this data?

This is data that have been received from client. They mention this data in Strumap format. I try to convert it to personal geodatabase but it failed.

Hi @norafizahkamil

Is the format ( .sbf ) from Google android devices, isn't?

Thanks,

Danilo

According to the formats matrix, FME can read and write so-called Northgate StruMap files:

https://www.safe.com/fme/formats-matrix/#search=strumap

But it seems FME expects them to have the .sgf extension, not .sbf. Unfortunately I have no experience with this format, but perhaps try renaming one of them to .sgf and see if FME can make any sense out of it.

I try to rename it but when I run through fme the total read and writen is zero. I think there are some problem with data itself. Btw thanks for your advice.

From what I read, the format .sbf is from google android device but they mention this is data from Strumap. I think I need to discuss clearly with the person in-charge about this data.
