I'm having an FME Workbench 2017 error reading my R datafile (.rda) with the RDATA reader and the licensed, installed StatTransfer 12 necessary to enable the RDATA reader. The error message reads: "'The signature of the input file is not recognized.'" What does this mean? How do I fix it?

Is the data that you are trying to read created in StatTransfer 14? (As per your previous Q&A; where you had StatTransfer 14 installed)

Are you able to open and read that data in StatTransfer12?

The data was created in R using Census APIs. I am able to open read that data in StatTransfer 12.
