With ECW v3 Writer I get the following error message:

ECW writer: An invalid parameter was used : date and projection setting are invalid.

The coordinate system used is EPSG:2056/EPSG:21780.

With the coordinate systems UTM / LL-WGS84 the ECW v3 Writer works correctly!

Tested with FME 2019.2.1.0 (Build 19813) WIN64 and FME 2020 Beta (Build 20153) WIN64.

Hi @erido with 19813 I made a "Jpeg2ECW" workspace explitely setting EPSG:2056 with the coordinatesystemsetter. Maybe You should add the log and/or testdata for further troubleshooting. best pH

Hi @palhermans thank you for your answer. Your proposal makes the same mistake. The input data is any GeoTIFF (.tif / .tfw). The .fmw and the log file with the error messages are in the appendix.

In my case no matter it's writing into ECW 3 or 2, all gets the same error "invalid coordinates".

Hi, has this been resolved? I get the same error:

ECW writer: An invalid parameter was used : datum and projection setting are invalid.

Using EPSG:2193, writing ECW v3.

Works fine using ECW v2.
