ArcGIS Online Writer

My goal is to be able to have an AGOL feature service that overwrites the previous version each time the workspace runs on FME Server. As of now, I can't get the AGOL writer to work at all. The error I am getting is 'ArcGIS Online Feature Service Writer: Could not find a layer/table matching feature type '"featurename"'. Any tips regarding using this writer?

I'm having the exact same issue, has there been any correspondence on this issue?

I'm running FME 2017.1.1 Build 17652

@kieranodonnellI believe it due to your layer being deleted but the geodatabase is not, As in AGOL every layer has a geodatabase with the same name so FME is looking for the layer that does not exist.

Thanks, this fixed my issue. I didn't have a File Geodatabase in AGOL. It appears that that is necessary.
