Welsh characters

I'm having some difficulties with Welsh characters and MapInfo Professional and I was hoping that someone would be able to assist.

 

 

I'm just trying to take the source MasterMap GML files from Ordnance Survey and save out the CartographicText feature type to a MapInfo TAB file.  The conversion goes fine but the Welsh characters are displaying incorrectly (see image below);

 

 

 

 

I've tried looking at the character encoding parameter for the MFAL Writer but am not sure which (if any) of these will help.

 

 

Has anybody come across something similar?
