I'm starting a SD to FME Server migration. Not sure where to start. Here is my current SD page:

http://ocs-spatial.ncd.noaa.gov/SpatialDirect/translationServlet?SSFunction=prepareFetch

So I should create 4 workbench. Publish them to my public fme server and then worry about how I'm going to do the text interface?

Hi,

this seems like a rather broad question to a potentially crucial decision. I think a bit more detail on what you're trying to accomplish would be helpful.

Perhaps also consider hiring the services of an FME professional in your region, it might be well worth it if you don't know exactly in which direction you're heading.

Ive narrowed it down a bit. I'm in the midst of writing workbenchs that will do Oracle/SDE> Shapefile. I'll probably have to add in other formats later but I think (hope) I can get away with shapefiles only to start. What I need to reseach/ get info on FME Server api so I can at least partially recreate the look and fell of that spatial direct extract page.
