setting extension to nothing?

Hi,

In FME 2011 I used to be able to write to a csv file with no extension (eg. "filename"). In FME 2013 it seems that I cannot do that. If I do not set an extension it defaults to .csv so the output file is "filename.csv".

Is there any way to write to a file with no extension in 2013?

If you set the value of the writer parameter extension to . in the navigator pane you get a file with no extension
