Hi,
in almost all instances, it is enough to just open the workspace file (*.fmw) in FME2013 and hit Save. The idea is that all versions of FME should be backwards compatible.

It does depend on what the workspaces involve.
e.g. we have a lot of workspaces that write to mapinfo tab files. When migrating these workspaces to 2013 all the mapinfo tab writers need to be replaced to allow specification of the TAB file version in the writer parameters.
