I am new to FME and am having trouble with a CADRG exporter. I need to limit the number of colors to 216 on the export however FME exports at 217 rendering the image all black on avionics software.

    Hi @alanrcrawford​,

    According to FME's CADRG documentation:

    "The three palettes have 216, 32, and 16 entries, respectively when the raster does not have a Nodata value, or 217, 33, and 17 entries, respectively, when the raster has a Nodata value."

    If you are getting 217 colors, it is likely there is a Nodata value set on your raster. Please try using the RasterBandNodataRemover transformer on your raster data before writing it to CADRG.
