Hi,

We use FME2012 for now and we plan to go on FME 2013 in a couple of month.

I know FME 2013 can read E57 file.

Can FME translate them to ascii file?

Is there any thing I should know before telling my colleague that we can translate such file?

thanks!

Hi,

Here is the whole list of formats supported by FME.

Complete list of Formats Supported by FME http://www.safe.com/fme/format-search/#!

And you can see detaild descriptions on ASTM E57 Reader/Writer and Esri ASCII Grid Reader/Writer.

FME Readers and Writers (Online) http://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_ReadersWriters/Default.htm FME Readers and Writers (PDF) http://docs.safe.com/fme/pdf/FMEReadersWriters.pdf

P.S. In couple of month, FME 2014 will be released.

And also, you can try the latest FME Desktop for 14 days with no charge. I think this will be the strongest "weapon" to get consent of your colleagues. Free 14-day Trial Download http://www.safe.com/fme/fme-technology/fme-desktop/trial-download/

Good luck!
