Hi !

I want to conversion some files( such as 3ds, dae or skp files) to cityGML files. Help me please!    There is a tutorial the web site

http://fmepedia.safe.com/articles/FAQ/Explanation-of-the-CityGML-format. But it does not update. For instance the document for fme safe 2012 but I use fme safe 2013 or fme beta 2014. And some transformers are not similar between two versions.

Since FME keeps compatibility with previous versions, I think the documentation basically can be applied to the work with newer FME.

Just be aware that some transformer names have been changed.

e.g. old --> current

Concatenator --> StringConcatenator

AppearanceAdder --> AppearanceSetter

If you type an old name on the canvas window, FME shows it as an alias for the current name, so you can select the correct transformer.
