Is there a way to use the RasterExtentCoercer with the S3Connector on large Cloud Optimised Geotiffs using only the top overview layer?

I have been linking S3Connector and the RasterExtentCoercer via the FeatureReader reading a downloaded COG to get its extent, but thinking about the nature of COGs, is there a way to only read the top layer overview instead of having to download the whole tiff?

Downloading is ok for smallish files, but this would save a lot of time for large COG files.
