post-install steps:

fmelicensingassistant_cmd.exe --floating <your license server> <Your FME edition>

From my testing, the fmelicensingassistant_cmd.exe does provide an exit code of 0 regardless of the licensing assistant was successful or not.

There is an internal request to present appropriate exit codes when using this exe aka ensuring an exit code of 1 if licensing fails (internal ticket: FMEENGINE-71394)
