Fme server 2021 connection with fme desktop 2020.2

Hello Guys , 

we installed recently fme server 2021 & we also succesfully installed ssl certificate on fme server

 

The issue is that :

Firstly:

I cannot make connection for fme server 2021 from fme desktop 2020.2 version , it gives me authentication error but with the same credential i can login fme server.. what might be the cause ?

 

Secondly:

After logging directly to the fme server portal , i was trying to run the sample workspace ..It was also giving me error..

 

May i know what might be the cause

Hi @abnanyazdani​ ,

 

Sometimes we can see authentication errors if the fmeserver URL has been specified incorrectly. Please make sure you are using https://<hostname>:<port> only. Do not include /fmeserver. If you are specifying this correctly, please can you share the exact error returned.

 

For your second problem, can you check that you updated your Service URLs to use HTTPS? This can be found under Admin > System Configuration >Network & Email > Services and you'll need to select 'Change All Hosts'.
