Update REST API endpoint

One of our main REST API services is changing URLs. This will impact some 100 or so workspaces written over the last 10 years. Some workspaces need to be saved in a specific version of FME to match either the client version or an FME Server version.

All of this means I don't want to manually update the workspaces to the new values.

While hand editing workspace files is generally not recommended, are there any major pitfalls to just automatically replacing the old url with the new url in a text editor (though it will almost certainly be scripted)?

What ever you do, make sure there's good backups!

Do these need to be published to FME Server(s)?

6 will need to be published to FME server. I'll do those manually.
