Hi Guys,
I'm wondering why I cant use $(FME_HOME) System Parameter on DGN Writer parameter for path to seed and cell files? When I use this parameter I'm presented with an input error and can't run the workspace.
Setting up correct path to seed and cell files is mandatory to any workspace built upon this file format. But it can't hold true that any client is requested to set up these FME specific path!?
Looking forward to hearing any suggestions from you!

Doesn't it pull the windows environmental variable for FME_PATH as default?
For me it points to the link below.
"C:\\Program Files\\FME/design/seed3d_m_v8.dgn"
you can check your environment variable from command prompt by typing echo %PATH% or go to windows system environment variables.
My FME home path is entered as C:\\Program Files\\FME
I am using 2020.1 version.

This holds true as long as you don't change the machine you're running the workspace on. But if you shift it and FME install directory changes by this (e. g. having multiple FME versions installed parallel in individual setup folders FME 2019, FME 2020, FME 2021), the workspace will fail. To overcome this, replacement of static install path with $(FME_HOME) variable would be a solution. Unfortunately one that seems to be invalid.
