One of our FME Floating licenses has expired and we've got a new one.
However, I don't know how should I proceed to install the new one. I've got just the new .fmelic file and I have access to the server.

Usually the .fmelic files are for node-locked installations only. For a floating license server you would normally receive a file called "safe.lic".
You will need access to the machine running the floating license server to upgrade the license. The instructions for how to update the floating license file are here:
