I have a quartic equation [e.g. y = (-0.0001601)x^4+(0.0055695)x^3+(-0.1003189)x^2+(-1.03221086)x+(100.771431)]; I would like to rearrange to isolate for the value of x (e.g. let's assume y represents PCI and x represents the year; I would like to know what the year is that a given PCI occurs). Is there a way to accomplish this in FME 2016.1?

@je6thoma Once you've rearranged your equation you can probably formulate it in FME as an arithmetic expression. But FME does not have tools for solving for X.
