Not seeing ArcGIS Portal Feature Service in list of services

I'm trying to write to an ArcGIS Portal Feature Service but I don't see it in the list of available services when setting up the writer. I don't own the layer but it is shared with the entire organization allowing write capabilities to all. It doesn't belong to any groups. Strangely, I can see layers in groups to which I don't even belong. I am connecting using a web connection that uses OAuth. Am I missing something? Bug? I'm using FME Desktop 2020.1.2.1 (Build 20624 WIN64).

Hi @aaron

This seems similar to the known issue reported in 2020.2 for ArcGIS Online/Portal Writer: Can not select existing feature service shared with a group (see https://community.safe.com/s/article/workarounds-to-known-issues-in-fme-2020x for details).

Are you able to try 2021.0 or the layer id workaround?

We are on 2020.1.2.1 in production for now but the layer ID workaround works just fine. Thanks for the tip @debbiatsafe !
