How can I deactivate the old server and move the license on the new?

Hi,

 

we have an old FME Server 2017 (permanent license) and a new FME Server 2020 (60days trial).

After we moved the workspaces, we would like to move the license from the old server to the new.

 

What do we need / how is it done?

How can I deactivate the old server and move the license on the new?

Simply request a permanent license for the new server using the same serial number as for the old server. When the new server is correctly licenses, switch off the old server.
