I installed the HOME version for my own private research. I am trying to register for a license but cannot activate it.

 ​ -I checked the progress in Task Manager, but it doesn't seem to be working.

-I have used it once in 2019 and it worked then. (Same Machine, OS:Win10)

FME version: FME Desktop 2022.0.0.1 for 64-bit Windows (Build22339)

OS: windows11, 64bit

Windows 11 is an officially supported operating system for FME 2022. I believe there might be something else happening.

You mentioned you are trying to register for a license but cannot activate it.

Are you able to open the FME Licensing Assistant? Does a dialogue appear or is there nothing?

 

If you do not see anything appear, can you please review this article and gather the information following steps 1 and 3 under the Windows section. Then please submit the information into a support case.

I can't open the FME Licensing Assistant., and there is no a dialogue.

I made a trial based on the article you taught me.

Step 1 and step 2-1 (Process Monitor Filter) are ok, ​but from step 2-2, when the Workbench is opened, nothing happens.

Therefore, the process monitor does not operate. 

I will continue to validate.

Additional information.

Normally, the Licensing Assistant should launch when the installation is complete, but nothing happens.
