I was wondering what are the limit of the 'Compare and merge' feature included in FME 2022.

I have a request to note all the changes made in the workspace and I want to find a way to list those changes. The problem is that I get an error: Unable to compare workspaces. (I have 800 transformer in it with multiple Custom Transformers).

I know this is a bit unrealistic...

Hi @carlm​, thank you for brining this to our attention. QA has been done with 1000+ transformers in the 2022 testsuite, so 800 transformers shouldn't be causing this error. I will open a case on your behalf to further investigate this with you.

 

For future users who run into a similar issue as this, please file a support with "Compare and Merge" in the subject line.

I've tried it on a workspace with about 1800 transformers, worked smoothly.
