Hello,

I have a set of polygones, each having 4 sides (right figure)

Each pair of facing sides are divided into equal segments. Is there a way somehow to make a grid for each polygone by linking facing vertices as depicted in the left figure ?

Hmm, can you provide a bit more info? I'm not sure I fully understand

Hello,

I updated the post with a figure. I hope that it is clearer now.

Thank you for your interest.

@lianaolianov Do the input polygons already have facing vertices to be linked or only 5 coordinates at the corners?

Hi @lianaolianov Try the attached workspace. It assumes that the shorter sides will be split in half and there is a prompt for the division of the longer sides.

I posted an answer to this as our question-of-the-week here: https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q00008X5XOtSAN/question-of-the-week-replacing-rotated-features-with-a-grid

I hope it helps to solve the problem.
