CoordSys fuction and CoordinateSystemExtractor transformer

I vaguely recall having some issue in the past getting features' coordinate system using CoordSys function and CoordinateSystemExtractor transformer.

If my memory serves me right one of them was not reflecting the actual coordinate system of each feature.

 

Has anyone come across such a problem? May I rely on that CoordSys function and CoordinateSystemExtractor transformer will always return the same information?
