Bentley "Fiber V8i" and FME Desktop

Hi to everyone,

 

 

I am facing a problem with some sets of fiber and coaxial data that are stored in "Bentley Fiber V8i" product. I need to export this information to Smallworld PNI database. I am not sure if this product is supported by FME Desktop, indeed it doesn´t appear in the list of recognized formats.

 

 

But, since "Bentley Fiber V8i" product uses an Oracle database, it is possible to export data to DGN, and Microstation is fully supported, i ask myself if it could be possible to set up somehow the source enviroment in order to extract data from Bentley product using FME Desktop.

 

 

Had anyone the chance to work succesfully with Bentley "FIber V8i" and FME Desktop products? Do you think this task could have an easy solution? If I cannot read data from the first one using FME Desktop, I do not know how I could get the data features i need to load in Smallworld.
