If I change the time to be 1 minute after the other job it runs successfully.
There is no log file as the job submitter just does not start.
FME should place the 2nd job in queue I would have thought.

That's really odd, it should indeed place the 2nd job in the queue and run it when the first one is done.
Do you have the Automation logs (so not the job logs) for when they're scheduled at the same time? You can find them in the actions list of a selected automation.

Here is the automation log - it only says that it failed to get the translation result after the schedule was triggered.

I see. I think it's best if you create a support case for this either with Safe or your local reseller.
