I'm very new to FME (today), but am trying to learn some bits and pieces. I followed the webinar on this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoKIRD1RQ88)and managed to get it working well.

 

 

I'm trying to set up a very similar situation, with the exception being the webservice is soap-based. I have the XML template I used to check the webservice is returning results (through SoapUI), but I just don't know how to incorporate this into FME. I have tried using the SOAPSender, but I can't download it from the FME Store. I have downloaded the one at this link (http://fmestore.safe.com/transformers/SOAPSender.htm), but it's a little beyond my basic knowledge.

 

 

I've had a good look around but can't find much on this topic, is anyone able to guide me in the right direction? Any help is MUCH appreciated.

@jaimz , any luck on this project? I am also a newbie and am working on a project that requires me to connect to a soap webservice to pull xml data. Wondering if you've made any progress on this?

First of all welkme to the wondeful world of FME!

Is there any chance you can provide the link to the data you are trying to read? that might make it easier to understand the input and the options to read it with FME.
