Just started my new job and the work environments are very similar (ArcInfo / Advanced License; new office FME Professional edition - old office FME oracle edition) and all I can see is the Open FileGDB reader writer.
Wondering if safe discontinued the ESRI File GDB reader and writers?
ArcPro 3.3.2 - advanced
ArcMap 10.8.2 - info
FME 2023.1 - Professional

The short answer is “No”: ESRI File GDB Reader/Writer are still present in FME 2023.1
Apart from the Open API Readers/Writers, for the ESRI GDB Readers/Writers FME does have dependencies on FME Versions, FME 32-bit/64-bit and and ArcGIS Configuration on the PC however. See following resources that may assist. Noted for example that FME2023.1 is not documented as supporting ArcPro 3.3.2 (well presumably not in FME 64 bit), with the min version of FME specified as FME 2024.0.2.2.
Otherwise we tend to run ArcMap 64 bit background geoprocessing module to use with FME 64 bit, but do not know how well that plays with an ArcPro install on same PC.
