We would like to translate a citygml file -

but we cannot enable the FME CityGML Importer with the files supplied by FME (.oemlic and .dat). It does not recognise them as liscense files. Has someone managed to do that? Could this Person please post a help? Kind regards, L. Muller

Hi,

Couple of questions to help trouble shoot.

Can you confirm the version of Infraworks you are using? (And that is it on the same machine as FME?)

Can you confirm the version of FME. FME 2018? 64 bit?

Can you confirm the location of the license folder? Should be something like C:\\ProgramFiles\\FME\\Licenses

Can you confirm the exact error message you are seeing?

Thanks,

Cat

Thanks, we managed!

I have the same problem..

Infraworks 2019 64 Bit, FME 2018.0.1.1 64 Bit, license is in the correct folder.

Any way to work around this?

Thank in advance!

Hi @hardyneuer,

The citygml importer licence only works with the FME quick translator; it won’t open FME workbench or data inspector. If you would like to try those applications, please use a trial.

Cheers, Cat

Hi!

We now have a troubleshooting guide for licensing the CityGML Importer for Autodesk.

If you are encountering a problem getting started, please see the article here.
