Basemapping available to our org is limited. Several are dark or the level of colour obfuscates point geoms in particular. Can we have a basemapping transparency/colour intensity setting?

You can do this already in Visual Preview/Data Inspector. Find the Data Display tab, click on the cross hair icon of each layer to find
- Under Symbology, you can adjust:
- Opacity / Transparency
- Colour (fill and outline)
- Line width
- Point size
- Label settings
Changing opacity is especially useful when:
- Overlaying multiple datasets
- Comparing source vs processed data
- Visualising dense polygon layers
