Unable to understand smallworld error message

I'm reading the data from smallworld environment. We are able to add reader and read the data to some extent but after few hours (6-8 hours) of execution, workbench is getting failed with the error as shown in attached screenshot. It is an issues towards GESW side or FME side, Kindly help...

Help in creating a function to create points from a messy csv file

I received some data where x and y coordinates are concatenated in a single cell. Extracting and connecting these together will give me either a line or a polygon. I have provided a sample csv file belowThe issue with the data I have been provided is that it has displaced field 10 onwards - but I can't tell that field 10 has been displaced unless I remove the all the concatenated geometry fields There are 2 things that I need help with1) extracting the x & y's so I can create geometry2) understanding where Field 10 may have been displaced to so I can create a table that makes sense!Any help appreciated!

Set Names for OBJ textures

Hello,I'm creating a collection of building models from an ESRI file GDB feature class. I'm writing eachmultipatch to a Wavefront OBJ file. Any number of these OBJ files may be imported into a modeling program at the same time. I've had problems when different models refer to texture files that have the same name. My workbench assigns a unique name to each OBJ file. I want each texture associated with a model to employ the unique obj name in the name of the texture image: eg: bosYU9732_[n].jpg Currently, FME names each texture "noname[n].jpg where [n] is a small integer. I found this thread from 2014 which seems to include tips for hacking the .mtl file. https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q000080hE7FSAU/rename-material-and-texture-from-wavefront-obj-to-obj Unfortunately many of the links are broken, and it is not clear whether any of the replies were useful to the original poster. Has anyone got updated tips or an example for me? Thank you!

Help my HTML Extractor Stopped Working

I have a workflow last run about 2 years ago that uses several html extractors to get information form various parts of a website. I went to run it again without changing anything and got the following error `fme_rejection_message' has value `PowerPlants_HTMLExtractor: <class 'soupsieve.util.SelectorSyntaxError'>: Malformed attribute selector at position 0 line 1:[id=Height_of_the_Dam_(m)_nbr_rng1]^'I have other CSS selectors configured the same way that are still working. Using an automation trigger webhook as a Teams outgoing webhook?

Has anyone configured an FME trigger webhook as an outgoing webhook in Teams? It'd be very nice to just @ an automation without leaving Teams. I've got an automation triggered by a webhook that can be triggered no problem using curl, but trying to use that webhook in Teams gets an immediate failure ("Sorry, there was a problem encountered with your request"). It looks like Teams may be expecting a particular response (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45743782/custom-bot-always-replies-with-an-error) and I'm not sure whether FME provides that / how to troubleshoot from here.

This is my first time working with FME workbench. I would like to convert an E57 to LAS to import into ArcGIS Pro for a class project. I looked around in the Transformer Gallery but could not find the correct tool. Thanks so much for your help!

Calculate the nodata in a raster based on other values?

Hi, thank you for reading my question! And maybe you have an idea? Please let me know! It's about: filling the nodata gaps in a raster.So, I have downloaded a DTM raster file. It's based on a pointcloud and some classes are filtered out, like water, building, vegetation, bridges. That leaves some nodata holes in the raster. I like to recalculate them, based on the nearest cell values. In the past, I did this with GIS and some neighbor tools for rasters, but I can't really find how to do this in FME. I have tried the RasterDEMGenerator and also the RasterConvolver, but without any good results... maybe I don't use them well or maybe I should use a completely different approach? No clue anymore. Any help is appreciated! Best,Harmen

HTTP Post via webhook (Data Streaming and Job Submitter) creates Java AccesDenied error on FME Server 2020.1

Last week we upgraded FME Server to 2020.1. Since then our Data Streaming and Job Submitter Services as applied via webhooks don't work anymore. The log files indicate some AccessDenied-problems.localhost_access_log: Post call receiveddatastreaming and jobsubmitterservice logs: request received. Fatal error: Service failed: java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: E:\\FMEServerData\\resources\\system\\temp\\requestdata\\1710266074152417324FME Server runs on a service account with admin rights to all of the server.How to solve this?

FME Server Filecopy Writer Remove Writer Name in Download

I want to remove the FILECOPY_1 path from the data download zip file from FME Server when using the filecopy writer, and can't figure out why it isn't being removed. When I enable the Data Download service on FME Server when publishing, I make sure to set the Path in the Zip File to empty, but I still receive the data download file in the structure listed below. I have a bunch of points features in input and I would like to sort them by distance between each other so the next row in the excel sheet in output would be the point the closest to the previous row. How can I achieve that with FME?

I have noticed that FME Desktop startup is very slow when using VPN. It can take 2-3 minutes just to start FME, without loading a workspace. When not using VPN, it takes about 5 seconds to start FME.

The same problem occurs when starting a workspace. When using VPN, it can take 1-2 minutes just to start the workspace. Without VPN, it´s instantaneous. Any suggestions on how to solve this? I use Windows 10, 64 bit, FME 2020.0 using SCCM, fixed license.

How can I change a field that contains a data change to an ArcGIS Online compatible Datetime field?

When trying to change the data type in the ArcGIS Online writer, the esriFieldTypeDate(width) is not an option. I want to have this type of field because I want to enable time in my hosted feature service.

Can you embed or somehow incorporate a raster or an image inside of a CAD file and email it to someone?

I have a workspace that I've published out as a server app. This allows users to select an area on a map, select layers that they would like and exports it out to a CAD file that is then emailed to the user as an attachment. Part of the export is a clipped, georeferenced ortho image. After the dwg is emailed and opened, the image does not show up. You can see a frame and basically a broken reference. I'm assuming that this is part of a CAD limitation in how images are managed, but figured I'd ask, in case someone has figured out how to do this. Is there a way to successfully include an image inside of a CAD drawing and email that drawing without losing the image? Hopefully this makes sense... Thanks! Eugene D.

Writing data into FME server temporary files folder

Is it possible to write data into FME server temporary files folder? What could be the writer parameters or settings to try? Currently I have been testing to write into an existing file (.txt) in temporary files folder on FME server and it will not write any data, whereas when just using FME desktop and writing the file locally to my computer works just fine. My actual dream is that the user can upload data and the server runs it through and displays the result back in PHP.

How to get the rotation information of a cell from DGN ?

Hello, I'm trying to get rotation information of a cell which come from a DGN.I found it for text element but not on cell. In microstation the information is present but not in FME, do you have any idea ? In the help here : https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Transformers/Transformers/dgnstyler.htm it say :OpenCell Rotation Specifies rotation of the cell (in degrees counterclockwise from horizontal). This can be set to any floating-point value between -360.0 to 360.0, or be set to a value taken from an attribute. Format attribute set: igds_cell_rotationBut I haven't this attribute in FME : But here in Microstation you can see the information (50 g = 45 deg)

Request URI not working in Google Sheets web connection

I'm trying to fix our Google Sheets connection in FME Server after a restore but can't get the redirect URI set correctly. It's currently set to http://127.0.0.1:8080/fmeoauth. The Google authorization goes all the way to the "Allow" button before I get a "This page isn't working (ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE)" error. I've tried different URI strings, including http://127.0.0.1:8080/fmeserver/fmeoauth, but get the same error. When replacing 127.0.0.1 with localhost, or the hostname, the Google auth goes nowhere. This is a private FME Server instance that is firewalled and has no public access. What else can I try?

AGOL Writer: how to insert rows to AND maintain symbology of existing feature service published using ArcGIS Pro?

I am attempting to use FME 2020.1 to update records in a feature service published to ArcGIS Online. I want to be able to set the symbology in ArcGIS Pro and initially create the feature service and symbology via ArcGIS Pro "Create Web Layer" operation. I am able to create the web layer and read with FME, but when I attempt to write to the existing feature layer (using mode INSERT and truncate YES), the translation says it is complete but no features are written in AGOL. UPDATEI seemed to have found the original issue.It appears that, when publishing the web layer from ArcGIS Pro, all feature layers that will be altered by FME need to have a template.I was getting warning 24041: Layer does not have a feature template set when analyzing the map document for publishing and ignoring it.I used the Create All Templates function to quickly add templates to all layers possible.I re-published this new layer with templates, and was successfully able to truncate and insert to the exist
