How to re-point dozens of socrata writers to new URL and test?

We have dozens of socrata writers that we need to re-point to a new domain. What is the best way to programmatically repoint to the new domain and test that the writers are still working after the migration?

 

e.g.

domain1.com/1234 -> domain2.com/1234

domain1.com/5678 -> domain2.com/5678

Probably the easiest way of doing this is opening the workspace(s) in a text editor and do a global search and replace.
