Reading Garmin format TCX and FIT

Hello,

 

Is there a way to read Garmin format TCX and FIT ? I can't find any info regarding readers for these 2 formats.

Not as far as I know, both are proprietary Garmin formats. I think GPSBabel might support them though.

Thanks. I will have a look at GPSBabel. These 2 formats are not new. I am wondering why they are not supported by FME.

Hi @André Dauzat​ it seems these formats are not supported yet, but other Garmin formats such as GDB are currently supported. However, even with the supported Garmin formats it is still required to have the following additional software: GPSBabel. Check out the format matrix for more details on what formats FME supports.

 

If you think this is a format that you and a lot of other people would benefit from, then I would encourage you to suggest an idea on the ideas page (where the developers take your ideas into account!)
