We have been working with a user of FME ESRI Edition to repoint the connections to a SQL server Always on listener in a multi subnet environment. The connection string has been configured with the Multi-Subnet Failover check box enabled (see attached) however the connection does not appear to resolve, to the multiple IP addresses registered, in parallel as I would expect for this parameter. As a result, connections are occasionally timing out.
Can you advise if there are any relevant known issues with the FME release currently being used (FME ESRI Edition, 2021.1.3.0 build 21631). Also are there any additional configuration changes required to ensure the multisubnet parameter is set correctly within the connection?
Any assistance with the above would be greatly appreciated.
