I would like to ensure that I understand correctly what Area Boundary is not Closed detailed information means

I think that "Area Boundary is not Closed" refers to an area feature whose vertices don't form a complete ring around it (i.e. there's a hole in it).

Thank you. Indeed, this what I was thinking as well. Even it may sound obvious it would be nice to have some drawing in FME help related to this
