Hi everyone,
I have a script with a reader that connects to an ArcGIS Enterprise database through a connection file.
My question is: Is the connection file information embedded in the script itself, so if I move the script to another location, that do not necessarily have access to the connection file, will it still work?
Or is there a way to make sure that my script works whether it has access to the connection file or not?

I believe if the script move but not the location of the connection file itself, it should still be able to connect to it. But you cannot move the connection file to different location without updating the script with the new path of the connection file location.
I put connection file on FME Server and always have script connecting to there, as i can ensure that it will not get move. Hope this helps!
