For others to know:

FME 2021.1

When the default interpreter is set to the Python in the Arcgis Pro folder adding the BIM360 Transformer results in a failing BIM360 Transformer. We can solve this by removing the Autodesk BIM360 Docs Package, selecting the FME Python 3.7+ Interpreter and re-installing the BIM360 Transformer.

Hi @jkr_da ,

Update: The issue is now resolved. With FME 2022.0 and newer, when installing packages the custom Python interpreter is not used.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I was able to reproduce this issue only when setting the Python Interpreter (via FME Options > Translation) to a custom python interpreter.

eg:

Custom_Preferred_Python_Interpreter

I've filed an issue (internal tracking number: FMEENGINE-71252) for this so that it should not be an issue with installing FME packages when setting a custom interpreter.

Thanks,

Andrea
