I haven't been able to figure out a way of disabling the Startup and Shutdown Python scripts I have setup in my workspace. When running my workspace for testing, I don't want the Startup or Shutdown scripts to run since they relate to moving and renaming files and folders that just fail when I'm running tests. Does anyone know if this is possible?

One thing I've done in the past is create a Run/dont run private parameter which I put at the top of my scripts. It's a stupid workaround that really shouldn't be needed but in some cases it's a nice to have.

Thanks @virtualcitymatt . I hadn't found that idea (which I'm surprised to see was originally posted in 2015) so thanks for pointing me to it, I voted on it. I'll see about configuring a Run/Don't Run parameter.
I totally get your dilemma with those startup and shutdown scripts interfering with your testing. It can be a bit of a hassle.
Have you considered using online task management software to help streamline and organize your workspace tasks, so you have better control over when scripts run and when they don't? It might be a helpful workaround for your situation. Wishing you smooth testing and script management!
