@farfar​ Sorry - at this point FME doesn't support Open Office. Please vote on this Idea and add any comments on your use case.

OpenOffice Calc does support export to Excel XLSX format and FME can read that. Also, ODS is based on XML, so perhaps FME's XML reader might be able to return the data you need, but that is obviously a more complicated approach.

Hi, you should use LibreOffice or OpenODS. Both run great with this type of file.
