Hi everyone,

I'm using the PDFStyler to create an interactive geospatial PDF where users can click on a point to launch a photo in a separate viewer.  I've managed to get this to work, but would like to customise the PDF slightly.

The main issue is how can I get the points to be a larger?  At the moment they are very small and I can't see an obvious parameter to change.  Buffering the point first doesn't help.

Also, any pointers on how I can insert things like a title into the PDF and make it appear above the map?

Here's my parameters:

Here's my PDF:

Any help would be much appreciated!

If you're using a Bufferer, make sure to use it before the PDFStyler. That seems to work for me.

Regarding headings, etc. in the PDF, I do not think that there is an easy way to do that. A PDFWriter with a template has been suggested to Safe, but I have no idea whether there are any concrete plans to implement this.

Hi,

On the PDF writer there is a setting for the default point size, maybe that may help.

Sorry, forgot to add: if you're using the PDF2D Writer, you can specify the default point radius under the Writer parameters in the Navigator pane.

Hi guys, the Bufferer didn't seem to work but the Point size in the Navigator did.  Thanks!

I can't see what the pdf looks like as I don't have access to dropbox.

But titles, additional text, logos etc. can be added

Thanks for the addtional link EG, I'll have to have a bit of read.

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone made PDF with links for Bluebeam rather than Acrobat?  I've noticed that my links work for Acrobat Reader, but not Bluebeam.

The link is in the format:

Photos/img100.jpg (where the Photo folder sits next to the PDF)

I've tried reversing the / to \\ as per:

However, it doesn't like the link.  I've also tried adding file:/// as a prefix.
