MapText Labeler text offset

MapText Labeler seems to have an issue over offsetting lower case text characters g,j,p,q and y when the output is dwg

The source data is a shp file

I use MapText Styler to create a text buffer around each line.

I haven't used this before, but you might try to create the labels in capital case and replace the text afterwards in the original casing.

Unlike most GIS systems, AutoCAD's text size parameter is the distance from the baseline to the capital height, and does not include the descender portion of the character (ie. the tail of y). The MapTextLabeller seems to be taking this into account when spacing the text from the line, by offsetting the text a little more when characters with descenders are present in the string.
