hi all,

I want to find gaps and overlaps in a polygon layer.

This workbench (FME 2013 build 1364)  is working fine.

I am looking for some suggestions/improvements. Surely this is not the only way to find these errors in FME.

The only problem till now is time required by DISSOLVER.

regards.

Hi,

In this case there is not much I can think of as suggestions for improvement of your workspace. It is a simple model which provides the answers you seek.

The only issues that can possibly add to the speed of translation are more hardware related (memory availability, FME temp location, etc)

As i am not FME expert, i just want to be sure that i am using right transformers to get the job done.

Hi irfan,

yes this are the correct transformers for the job, another possibility to speed up things would be to use parallel processing, but I can't tell if this is applicable for your case since I don't have the input data. You can find lots of info about it on fmepedia.
