FME Engine is shutting down and Process Engine2 ends unexpectedly

FME Engine is shutting down and Process Engine2 ends unexpectedly while running a scheduled task. License is being borrowed from another license server.

The issue is intermittent but is being observed very often. When we login to FME server then it gives error "No FME Engines are available to this FME Server." The FME Engines are available once we restart the FME server service but a permanent fix is required for this issue as it hinders the regular business process. We are using FME Server 2012 SP1.

Wow, that's a really old version of FME Server. Given the huge improvements made in FME Server in the last years, I'd really recommend that you consider an upgrade. The improvements in usability and stability are huge. Even the licensing system has become much more robust.

That said, it's very difficult to say what could be the cause without more details about what this workspace is doing. Can you give us some more details?
